Vinayak - Survival of a little boy

Every month, when Ozindcare Committee conducts its regular meeting, we go through many request, most of them for serious financial help. The reason can be various- medical, financial hardship, for studies etc.. One can only go through such request letters with sadness and the thought how lucky we are able to leave in conditions here. One such request was from parents of a one and half year old boy Vinayak. The little boy Vinayak with severe heart problem and down syndrome, has already undergone 2 major surgeries at this young age. With your support, we are able to contribute a small amount as an interim financial help for little Vinayak’s treatment. His parents are surviving under the mercy of others.

20 years and counting!

Recently Ozindcare conducted a goodwill meeting of all the members of evey committee we had from its inception who are currently in Australia. Our progress and the service was discussed in detail and now have come up with suggestions and ideas to improve for our way forward. All the previous committee members have pledged their support to continue to take us to the next level. Some of the supportes who work “behind the scene” were also in the meeting.

One of the major decision taken was to increase the number of memberships. Direct debit facility throgh the bank will be arranged. Our website will be modified to facilitate the transaction.

Ozindcare will be celebrating 20th Anniversary on 20th June 2015. This program was announced during the meeting. Function will be held in Bahai function centre, Silverwater. Famous Malayalam and Tamil Film star Padmasree Jayaram will inaugurate the function. Variety of highquality programs comprising famous artists will perform spacality art form of almost every Indian state. We hope we will be able to raise a good amount of fund to help more helpless.

	Ozindcare grows young

Ozindcare will soon be forming a youth committee to be known as “Ozindcare youth”.

This will function as an independent committee headed by youth representatives. We hope this will encourage young university students and graduates to work for the charity of “Helping the helpless”. The main aim for this committee will be to attract more young and charity minded people to this great organisation and to be able to expand our volunteer service to more needy and helpless both in India and elsewhere.
