Season’s greetings to all our members and supporters

2015 - The year that was..

It turned out to be a great year for Ozindcare members and supporters as we could collect and distribute more than $32,000 to many helpless and deserving individuals and organisations. We are entering into 21st year of our service and we are proud to state that our support base is increasing every year. One of the many reasons for the increase in support, as we understand, is that every dollar we collect through various activities goes to the real needy in full. All the committee members and direct supporters are volunteers spending their valuable time for a worthy cause. In the process, we receive plenty of help from many of the previous committee members and also from those who like to volunteer without being in the committee.

We are also able to establish a youth committee for Ozindcare called Ozindcare Youth. We hope this youth committee will be able to organise various activities in the coming years. More importantly they will be able to spread the message of “helping the helpless” among the youth in our community. Ozindcare would like to wish our Youth Committee every success.

Swanthana Bangalore gets a helping hand from Ozindcare

A cheque over Four Lakhs Forty Thousand Rupees has been handed over to Sisters in Swanthana Bangalore.

Our last program, Nite Of Nostalgia has been a grant success through which we were able to collect more than $9000 for Swanthana orphanage Bangalore. We are pleased to inform all those who helped Ozindcare to be part of this great cause that a cheque for Rs.4,40,733.80 has been handed over to the Swanthana Staff before Christmas. We appreciate George Thomas, Priya and Teddy for taking the initiative to organise the program. Swanthana has been caring for mentally challenged and abandoned girls since 2007.
Sadhana- Nine Modes
of Devotion

Our next program Sadhana will be staged on Saturday 19th March 2016. This theme based classical dance program will be presented by Rasika Dance Academy, one of the popular Dance school in Sydney with live music. The proceeds will be donated to Pain and Palliative Care Society Trichur. For your tickets please contact any committee members.

Our sincere gratitude to Metro Malayalam, our media partner, for donating $1000 to Ozindcare. The amount was received by Sindhu Unnirajan from Bipin Paul during Kerala Naadam 2015 launching function in Sydney.
Ozindcare Fund raising through Lucky Draw Tickets are out for Exciting prizes.

To meet our ever increasing financial help requests, we are conducting a lucky draw with exciting prizes. Half of the proceeds from the ticket sale will be donated to Swanthana Orphanage Bangalore. All prizes are donated by our supporters. If you would like to volunteer to sell tickets to your friends and colleagues please contact Ozindcare.

  • Donated $1000 to Raghu, a daily wage worker from Mavelikkara, Kerala for his cancer treatment.The request came through Mr. Biju Sridharan Sydney
  • Collected and donated $9315 to Swanthana Orphanage Bangalore This is the proceeds from our last program Nite of Nostalgia conducted in November 2015.

Membership for 2016

The membership for the year 2016 is now due. We request all our current members to renew your membership. It costs you only $25 for family and $10 single. We also request new members to join Ozindcare by taking membership for this organisation. Membership is one of the major source of income for our funds. Ozindcare has been able to provide the service of helping the helpless for all these years due to the unconditional support from our members and friends. We are able to line up many volunteers to help our organisation by spending their valuable time for this noble cause. However, any major fund raising function will not be successful without our sponsors who have been generous for this charity. Many business establishments choose to support Ozindcare due to the fact that any amount they donate will reach the real needy.
